All public places get busy at some point in time, but nothing is as busy is airports – the run around the clock and they must do so with incredible precision and efficiency, as incidents and events that stop the flow of people and planes can cause a domino effect that can be hard to mitigate once it gets going. In this episode, I have the CTO of Manchester Airports Group, John Hudson, who sat down for a chat with me to talk about the work he does for them, how he rolls as a leader, all the way to sharing some bits of wisdom stemming from the experience he’s had as a techie and a tech leader.
“Accepting that you don’t know something is the first step to growing in that area – you don’t need to know everything, just keep an open mind.”
