Lloyd Moore is the VP of Engineering at Blockdaemon. He runs a globally distributed team delivering state-of-the-art blockchain solutions. He started his digital journey aged 13, in 1983, and while technology has played an important role in his life, Lloyd has always craved additional and extreme challenges. Career highlights away from the tech space include serving with the British special forces and competing as an elite level professional rugby player (Rugby is like American Football, just way harder).

Lloyd reconnected with software in 2000. Since then, he has been doing what he excels at, building great engineering teams and retaining top talent. At Blockdaemon, he has taken the engineering team through three rounds of series funding, leading to a current valuation of $3.25Bn. This growth has been underpinned by Lloyd’s team and their continued engineering excellence.
